Young Beginner Piano Lessons (Ages 0-5)
Frequency: Weekly
Duration: 15-30 minutes
Duration: 15-30 minutes
Lessons for very young children ages 0-5 are based on the idea that "children learn through play". We will sing, dance, color and MOVE during our time together. These lessons are designed to involve parents and equip them with activities to do at home with their little ones, so mom or dad are required to attend. This will feel like a play day with intention! And yes! You read that right! Our youngest student ever was only 18 months old!
Beginner Piano Lessons (Ages 5-18ish)
Frequency: Weekly
Duration: 30 minutes
Lessons for children (and adults) 5-18ish years old with no experience prepare them for advanced music training, while still incorporating an element of fun that is appropriate and engaging for their age group! We still incorporate lots of fun, creative play, but we begin to work toward a consistent exercise of daily technical training, music history, music theory and repertoire development. Students in this age group are also able to participate in recitals in the summer and winter.
Intermediate/Advanced Piano Lessons (Ages 12-Adult)
Frequency: Weekly or Bi-Weekly (as needed)
Duration: 45-60 minutes
Lessons for students with previous experience are focused more heavily on classical repertoire development. Students learn music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic and Contemporary eras and delve deeply into applicable advanced technique. Students of this level are required to learn the history of the composers and pieces they are studying and are encouraged to pursue a variety of performance opportunities.
College-Prep & Professional Development Piano Training
